The Faculty of International Politics and Security of "Union - Nikola Tesla" University signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the prestigious Turkish National Police Academy. The contract was signed in Ankara by prof. Dr. Violeta Rasković Talović, Dean of the Faculty of International Politics and Security and Prof. Dr. Ufuk Aihan, Deputy President of the Turkish National Police Academy. An important strategic document opens up the possibility of exchange of students and professors, organization of international conferences, as well as participation in joint projects.

On this day in 1856, Serbian physicist and inventor Nikola Tesla was born in Smiljan, one of the greatest minds in the history of world science, especially electrical engineering, the creator of the "new technical order", whose inventions laid the foundation and direction of the dizzying scientific and technical development of the human race. in the 20th century.

He patented about 700 inventions in the fields of alternating current, telecommunications, acoustics and mechanical engineering, many of which found wide application. The only time he was in Belgrade was in 1892 when he received the Order of Saint Sava. You can read more HERE.

in the main menu EXAMINATION DEADLINES on the University's website, for each faculty you can see the June 1 and 2 examination deadlines for basic and master academic studies for the academic year 2022-2023. a year.

The June 1 exam period lasts from May 29. until 09.06.2023. years. The June 2 exam period lasts from June 12. until 23.06. in 2023.

Due to the meeting announced for May 26, 2023, the employees and students of the University "Union - Nikola Tesla" are informed that on that day the University will work with reduced working hours from 8 am to 12 pm.

Students and professors of the Faculty of International Politics and Security visited the District Prison in Belgrade (Central Prison) and the Special Prison Hospital. During this visit, the students had the opportunity to see all parts of this institution, to learn about the work of the security service and the surveillance and security systems, and the numerous questions of the students were answered by the managers of the security sector.

The ceremonial awarding of diplomas for graduates of basic and master studies will be held on  April 19, 2023, at 2 p.m. Please bring your ID (ID card, passport) with you when you arrive to collect your diplomas.The graduation ceremony will take place in the "Union-Nikola Tesla" University building at Cara Dušana Street 62-64 on the sixth floor in the amphitheater.

Students of the Faculty of International Politics and Security had a unique opportunity to visit the Military Intelligence Agency and learn in detail about the scope of work of this important institution. We would like to thank Colonel Mr. Dragutin Sretović for his hospitality and for all the details about the place and role that VOA occupies in the security system of the Republic of Serbia. Our students were also presented with a permanent exhibition that contains numerous interesting exhibits that were used by members of the Agency during the execution of their tasks.

As part of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Faculty of International Politics and Security and the Institute of International Politics and Economy, two of our students had the opportunity to attend the Winter School, entitled "International Relations in the Context of the War in Ukraine".
The winter school lasts until April 6 and includes lectures and debates by Institute researchers, renowned Serbian experts, diplomats and ambassadors. Various additional activities were organized for the participants to acquire knowledge and diplomatic skills, and a final workshop was planned with the aim of recognizing the best students.

Students of the Faculty of International Politics and Security had a unique opportunity to visit the House of the National Assembly and directly learn everything about the history of the highest representative body and holder of constitutional and legislative power in the Republic of Serbia. On that occasion, the students visited the large plenary hall and the small hall, the library, as well as the hall for the reception of the highest officials, getting to know the building itself, the historical, architectural and cultural value that made it declared a cultural monument.
We would like to thank the group for education of the National Assembly for the warm welcome and hospitality.
