First-year architecture student Valentina Ferrazzano attended the BESE summer school of architecture

GeneralFaculty of Civil Engineering - Architecture and urbanism

BESE summer school, which was held in Krakow, Poland, in the period from 3.07. until 15.07. In 2023, she dealt with spatial planning and is one of three summer schools whose theme is SPACE. The first week was held via the MS Teams application and the second was held live in Krakow. The lectures were held as walks, the aim of which was to show the students what a sustainable city is and how the negative consequences of economic and political goals can cause a conflict with the harmony of the city and the healthy life of citizens. The importance of spatial planning is seen through architecture, which, as the art of organizing space, helps us to have a better life.
