Groat of the Taubman College of Architecture and Urbanism, University of Michigan in the United States has prepared Routledge's Handbook for Games in Architecture and Urbanism - Tools for Design, Teaching, and Research.
Routledge Handbook for Games in Architecture and Urbanism - Design, Teaching and Research Tools aims to identify and demonstrate a rich variety of games, including: simulations, similar game approaches, game scenarios and gamification processes for teaching and learning, design and research in architecture and urbanism.
This collection provides an opportunity to exchange and think about games in architecture and urbanism. Theoretical discussions, descriptive studies and case studies presenting empirical evidence are presented; combined with reflective studies, constructive critical analysis, discussions of relationships, and various influences in this area. Twenty-eight international collaborators gathered from eleven countries and five continents to present their studies on games in architecture and urbanism, ask new questions and advocate innovative views.
