International politics and security
The study program International Politics and Security is a one-year program of academic master studies aimed at educating highly professional staff in the field of international politics and security who with their knowledge and skills will be able to engage in creating and managing complex projects and take responsible positions. diplomatic missions, state administration, political parties and the country's security and defense structures.
The outcome of the learning process is highly professional knowledge, developed creative, business, diplomatic and leadership skills that enable strategic management of security, defense, administrative units and political organizations and diplomatic missions, organizational changes, public relations and further training in doctoral studies.
The entire study program consists of a total of 10 one-semester courses. Out of that, 4 subjects are obligatory and 3 are selected from the list of 6 subjects, which is a total of 43 ECTS. The study program also includes study research work (SIR), which aims to enable students to approach the preparation of the final master's thesis, and it carries 5 ECTS. The final paper has 12 ECTS. The total number of ECTS in master studies is 60.
According to its content, the program includes complex disciplines of international politics and security, such as - methodology of scientific research, modern theories of international relations, international organizations, doctrines of nonviolence, modern security systems, analysis of modern political and security phenomena, theories and models of democracy, religious fundamentalism and extremism, globalization and security, and strategic governance in political and security processes.
Graduates of this master's study program can continue their doctoral studies if they meet the admission criteria.
