Informatics

The goal of the study program of the master's academic studies in Informatics is for the student to acquire competencies that are in the function of performing professional and scientific activities in the field of computer science and informatics.

The purpose of the study program of master's academic studies in Informatics is to educate students for the profession of master of informatics and training for the application of modern models and applications in the field of computer science and informatics.

Duration of studies: Master's academic studies of the study program Informatics last 1 year (2 semesters), evaluated with 60 ECTS. The total number of hours of active teaching is 60 hours.

Enrollment requirements: The Master of Academic Studies of the Informatics study program is intended for students who have completed four years of academic studies (240 ECTS). The conditions for enrollment in the study program are given in the University Statute.

Outcome of the learning process: Through theoretical and practical classes, students should be able to successfully implement their knowledge in the field of computer science and to independently perform scientific research activities in this field and related disciplines. During their daily work, students will be able to design and implement software solutions and models, to improve existing models, to test them, to place them on the market and to evaluate the effects of their application in working with different categories of users.
